This circular ceramic bowl is a creation of designer Nils Kähler, produced by Herman August Kähler in Denmark in the 1970s. It is distinguished by its striking contrast between the deep blue glaze and the raw texture of the natural stoneware, characteristic of Scandinavian design of that era. The piece is crafted from stoneware, with the interior and upper rim covered in a glossy turquoise glaze, while the lower outer band reveals the raw material. It measures 19.5 centimeters in diameter. The base bears the incised signature of Nils Kähler as well as the inscription "DENMARK," attesting to its origin and authenticity. The overall condition is very good, the ceramic retaining all its original luster and the stoneware its natural patina. The piece demonstrates careful preservation over the decades.
