Pair of Vintage Carved Cinnabar Vases with Blue Enamel and Brass (1960s/70s)
Description:
Superb pair of finely carved cinnabar vases, dating from the 1960s-1970s.
They feature a rich relief decoration of landscapes, trees, and flowers. The inside of the necks and the bases are covered with a magnificent cloisonné-style blue enamel, beautifully highlighted by brass trim. Inscriptions are present on the base of each piece.
Condition:
Both vases are in very good condition.
Note: The openwork wooden bases are included, but they have some chips (please refer to the photos).
