Product description
Impressive antique piece, it is a cigarette vending machine made in Spain in 1920. It is a Victoria machine. It is made with enameled and chromed metal parts, leather strap and maroon wood base: all parts are original. Dimensions: 34 cm long, 15 cm wide and 22.5 cm high.
The set includes the original instructions for using the machine.
On top of the machine there is a metal funnel. On the front we see the logo of the brand with the name VICTORIA and the name of the manufacturing company, Victorero Hermanos. The Victorero family consisted of twelve brothers, four of whom opened a store selling tobacco and stationery in Lastres, Asturias. Around 1910, they founded the company Agustín Victorero y Hnos. to market a cigarette rolling machine designed by Antonio Victorero. The first model was patented in 1915.
The lower part of the machine is also made of metal with a finish similar to that of the upper tank. The rest of the machine is made of chromed metal, with a red Bakelite handle on the handle and an original brown leather strap. The operation of the machine is very simple: the tobacco is poured into the funnel, the crank is turned so that the right amount falls out. After the paper is placed in the compartment, you just have to pull the metal rod at the front to drag the paper, which is then moistened and closed to make a cigarette.
