Christo: "The Umbrellas (yellow) - Japan/USA 1991." With dry stamp. "The Umbrellas, Japan - USA" (original English title) was an artwork by married couple Christo and Jeanne-Claude, realized simultaneously in 1991 in Ibaraki Prefecture in Japan and Kern County in California. The project consisted of several thousand blue-and-yellow umbrellas placed outdoors. The total cost was $26 million.
