Product description
A set of 2 beautiful screen prints by the artist Christiane Steffens. A total image and a detail image, together next to each other. Very colorful and modern! The screen prints are in excellent condition!
Christiane Steffens (1956) born in Maastricht and visual artist. After graduating from the Academy of Visual Arts Maastricht, she exhibited in various places in the city. She gained fame in 2003 with her project about her great-grandmother Maria Kicheler, who was born in Maastricht in 1853 and died in Liège in 1940, while she was married to a train driver from Aachen. The project – with 'a woman from the Euregion' as its Leitmotiv – included a series of twenty-five paintings inspired by her life.
