Christian Krekels
Very beautiful signed coffee table, designed by Belgian designer Christian Krekels, made in the late 70s. The top is very decorative, see the photo, entirely in engraved brass, and rests on a wooden base.
The rectangular tray measuring 90 cm by 160 cm. The technique used, typical of the work of Belgian decorators from the 70s and 80s, is acid etching, which creates a unique pattern. The refined use of etched brass and geometric patterns, often combined with sleek wooden structures.
It is original and in excellent condition. A rare and very decorative piece.
