Product description
This Hornblower candlestick, designed by Christer and Christel Holmgren, is an iconic example of Scandinavian design. The design is characterized by a robust, sculptural form that immediately catches the eye and creates a strong visual impact in any room.
Crafted from solid cast iron, this object holds six dinner candles. The matte black finish emphasizes the clean lines and Brutalist influences of the design. The construction is solid and reflects the high-quality production standards of the period in which it was designed.
The candlestick is in excellent condition, with the original finish and characteristic patina preserved. The cast iron displays the authentic texture associated with this material and design.
This object looks particularly good on a spacious dining table or a minimalist sideboard. It fits seamlessly into both modern and vintage-inspired interiors, where it functions as a functional work of art.
