A striking and highly sculptural "Chiocciola" lounge chair designed by Italian designer Roberto Semprini for Arredaesse in 1994. This distinctive design combines playful organic forms with a futuristic aesthetic, reflecting the experimental spirit of Italian design during the 1990s.
The chair features a beautifully rounded seat and an elegantly curved backrest, upholstered in vibrant red fabric. Its most distinctive feature is the sculptural spiral-shaped connection between the seat and backrest, inspired by the form of a snail's shell, from which the chair takes its name. Slender metallic legs with spherical feet and gracefully curved armrest supports create a fascinating contrast with the soft, generously upholstered body.
