Product description
This beautiful Chinese/Tibetan paper scroll, titled *Two Ladies*, is a refined artwork that celebrates the elegance and subtlety of traditional Asian art. The work is a tribute to the famous artist Chang Dai Chien, known for his masterful brush technique and eye for detail.
- The painting depicts two graceful ladies, rendered in soft hues and with delicate brushstrokes that emphasize their serene beauty.
- The combination of black, blue, and red accents on a white background creates a harmonious and timeless aesthetic.
- This artwork is ideal for lovers of Asian art and adds a refined aesthetic to any space.
What makes this paper scroll extra special is that it was acquired in 1989, during the fierce uprising between Tibet and China, by my brother who was on site at the time. He was able to leave the area just in time. The scroll is
in all likelihood from a much earlier date. Around 1967.
A special paper scroll, original and with an extra special story.
The artist left China at that time. Born 1900 and has since passed away a long time ago. The scroll has retained its beautiful blue hue. With just a few strokes, this scroll tells multiple stories.
The background silk on paper will certainly have faded somewhat, but that is to be expected with this paper scroll.
Add a touch of classic elegance to your interior with this unique paper scroll. Contact us today for more information or to add this special piece to your collection.
Given the price of the paper scroll, I cannot recommend sending it via postal shipping. In case of possible loss, the damage will not cover the value.
Therefore, transport via Whoppah is preferred. Should you insist on shipping, the buyer bears the risk.
