About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Description: For sale: a beautiful, very large Chinese porcelain vase (model 'Tianqiuping' or heaven globe vase). A real eye-catcher in any interior thanks to its impressive size and vibrant colors.
The vase is richly decorated with a traditional depiction of children playing and picking peaches. In Chinese culture, this symbolizes a long life,
happiness and prosperity. The neck features elegant hand-painted calligraphy.
According to the Chinese characters, the vase was made by artist Cao Dawen in the famous porcelain city of Jingdezhen. It is a beautiful modern decorative piece (made around 2002) with a very glossy finish.
Condition: The vase is in excellent condition. No cracks, no chips or pieces missing. The colors are still perfectly bright. On the underside there is a small superficial scratch/baking line from the factory, of course not visible when the vase is standing.
Given its large size and fragility, pickup is strongly preferred.
Make a nice, realistic offer and this beautiful eye-catcher will soon be in your home.
