A beautifully and powerfully painted bamboo. Painted in Chengdu in 1984. Material: watercolor on rice paper. The symbolism of "flexible as bamboo" is central to many Asian cultures and is synonymous with resilience, adaptability, and inner strength. Unlike a rigid oak tree, which can break during a heavy storm, bamboo bends with the wind and then springs back to its original position. Bamboo symbolizes the ability to withstand life's adversities and storms without breaking. Bring a touch of Asian refinement to your interior with this beautiful Chinese scroll painting. The bamboo image, executed in a monochrome palette of black and white, exudes timeless elegance and creates a serene and calming atmosphere.
