Old Chinese wooden jewelry box with brass fittings and a jade plaque centrally placed on the lid, inside a pink/fuchsia lining with gold floral decoration, second half of the 20th century.
Beautiful and high-quality jewelry box with lovely age patina. The jade plaque depicts two birds, hammered floral decoration, and dotted patterns on the brass fittings.
The box is in good vintage used condition with signs of age and use commensurate with its age, such as a few small dents and superficial scratches and cracks. However, the whole is still very sturdy and solid. Check the photos for more details!
