Product description
Authentic handmade wooden piggy bank in the shape of a turtle, originating from the traditional toy region of the Erzgebirge in Germany.
This charming piggy animal is crafted entirely from wood and hand-painted in vibrant colors. The body can be opened by unscrewing the two parts from each other via a traditional wooden screw closure (wood-on-wood, without metal), an older production technique characteristic of high-quality German work.
The original Taymans, Antwerp store sticker is still present at the bottom, giving the piece a nice local history and added collector's value. It is a decorative piggy bank.
