About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This EA 124 Aluminium Lounge Chair is an iconic design by Charles & Ray Eames, produced by Herman Miller. It is a classic swivel armchair that embodies the characteristic combination of a sleek aluminium frame and a comfortable, springy seat. The chair features a seat of black Hopsack fabric, stretched tightly between polished aluminium side profiles. The base consists of a four-star cast aluminium leg fitted with glides. The chair is equipped with a reclining mechanism for extra seating comfort and bears the original Herman Miller label on the frame. The furniture is in good, functional condition with visible signs of use consistent with its age. The original finish and characteristic silhouette have been fully preserved. This design piece fits perfectly into a modern or Mid-Century Modern interior. The armchair comes into its own in a living room, reading nook, or as a stylish addition to a home office.
