Product description
This antique billiard chair, made by the renowned Chevillotte company in Orléans, is a classic example of functional French furniture. Its timeless silhouette and robust construction make it a piece of character, sought after for its authenticity and history. Crafted from bentwood, this chair features an ergonomic seat and back, typical of early 20th-century utilitarian design. The warm brown hue of the wood highlights the natural grain and the patina acquired over the decades. The metal identification plate "Chevillotte Orléans" is still present on the back of the seat, attesting to its provenance. The chair is in good overall condition, retaining all its structural soundness. It displays a pronounced patina and signs of wear that attest to its past in billiard rooms, adding to its authentic charm and unique character. Ideal for adding a vintage touch to a contemporary interior, this chair will find its perfect place around a rustic dining table or as an occasional seat in an office. Its clean design blends easily into industrial or country-style decor.
