Chair designed by Marta Stama, Poland, 1930s
The chair was designed by Marta Stam, a Dutch architect and Bauhaus lecturer, and was made at the East Steel Furniture Factory in Zajiel near Żywiec. It is a type of "suspended chair" - the seat of the chair looks like it is floating in the air. The concept of the form of the chair is timeless.
The chair has undergone professional renovation.
