Original dining chair model CH18A, designed by Frits Henningsen and produced by Carl Hansen & Søn in Denmark – a refined example of traditional Danish craftsmanship and timeless design.
Crafted from solid oak, the chair stands out for its exceptional construction quality. The backrest features fourteen round spindles, eight of which pass through the central horizontal rail, creating a distinctive structural and visual detail that combines strength with elegance.
The seat is made from solid wood, approximately 5 cm thick, and features a subtly carved seat depression for enhanced comfort. The oak has developed a warm, natural patina with minor signs of use, adding to its authentic vintage appeal.
An original manufacturer’s label is present underneath the seat, confirming its Danish origin.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with minor age-related wear. Structurally sound with beautiful patina.
