The large ceramic vase by Scheurich Keramik, made in the 1960s, German production. An impressive form with a heavily textured surface, decorated with an intense orange-red glaze in a geometric, fiery pattern characteristic of the Fat Lava style. One of those pieces that perfectly captures the expression and boldness of German design of the 1960s. Ideal as a centrepiece in a mid-century modern interior.
