Decorative shell-shaped vessel, 1960s/1970s. Made of white glazed ceramic, with a delicate sheen and realistic surface modelling. Such forms, inspired by the natural world, were particularly popular in post-war Italian and Spanish design, where organic motifs were combined with decorativeness and functionality.
