Roland Zobel (1915-2006) was a French ceramist. After studying at the Beaux-Arts de Bourges and the International School of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy, Roland Zobel settled in the Cévennes, in Anduze, a town with a great pottery tradition. His workshop, Les Cyclades, was the scene of the creation of his terracottas in the 1950s.
A rare lion-headed ceramic plate, emblematic of Zobel's work.
