Attention Belgian art and design ceramic collectors! I am offering this magnificent and authentic flattened ovoid vase in the shape of a pebble (or "teardrop"), created by master ceramist Antonio Lampecco for the Maredsous Abbey Workshop in the 1960s/1970s.
It features a superb and deep two-tone speckled glaze in cobalt blue and midnight blue, the artist's signature color scheme.
The piece still has its original period label under the base, bearing the Abbey's "M" logo.
