This West Germany ceramic jug was made in the 1960s by the German manufacturer Jasba.
A distinctive Jasba design featuring hand-painted decoration in the spirit of abstract modernism. The slender form with a handle and a dynamic arrangement of colourful accents against a black mesh background creates a highly recognisable style.
