Characterful ceramic floor lamp by Krösselbach, manufactured in Germany in the 1960s. This sculptural floor lamp is crafted from hand-thrown ceramic with a beautiful natural drip glaze in soft cream, grey, and earth tones. The combination of the rough chamotte texture and the flowing glaze gives each lamp a unique character and reflects the artisanal craftsmanship for which Krösselbach is known. The spherical ceramic base forms a beautiful contrast with the slender cylindrical lampshade, creating a calm and balanced silhouette. Whether illuminated or unlit, this lamp is a decorative object that fits perfectly within a Scandinavian or Mid-Century Modern interior. The ceramic base is in very neat vintage condition and is free of damage. The lampshade is likewise neat and complete. One of the four internal connecting rods of the shade came loose in the past. This does not affect the shape or use of the shade and is not visible from the outside. Dimensions are as follows: height 130 cm, diameter 32 cm. Carefully selected vintage design. Professionally restored where necessary, with respect for the original design, craftsmanship, and materials used.
