Product description
The ceramic bowl was made in the 1960s in Denmark.
An elegant stoneware bowl, made using a technique characteristic of Scandinavian design of the 1960s and 1970s. Its interior is covered with a deep blue glaze, which contrasts beautifully with the raw, matte texture of the outer surface. The rim is decorated with a geometric frieze in warm honey tones, which gives the vessel a rhythmic, architectural character. The form is simple and functional, typical of mid-century modern aesthetics, yet extremely decorative. The bowl is perfect as part of a vintage ceramics collection, but also has practical uses – e.g., as a container for small items, an original cover, or a small platter.
Condition: The item is in its original condition and may have minor scratches and normal signs of use.
