The bowl was made in the 1960s by the Danish manufacturer Søholm Stentøj from Bornholm.
Danish ceramic bowl by Søholm Stentøj from Bornholm, made in the 1960s/1970s. A classic example of Scandinavian stoneware, combining the natural texture of an unglazed surface with an intense, deep blue glaze on the inside. The simple, geometric form emphasizes the functional character of the object, and the contrast between the raw brown and saturated blue gives it a unique elegance. Perfect for serving, as a decorative bowl on the table, or as part of a collection of vintage Scandinavian design.
