Product description
Exceptional and very graceful animal figurine representing a great tit on its branch, produced in Germany by the prestigious Saxon porcelain manufactory Karl Ens (Volkstedt).
This highly refined collector's item is entirely hand-painted underglaze. The bird displays its characteristic natural polychromy, combining a brilliant jet-black cap, white cheeks, and a luminous bright yellow breast shading towards an olive green back. The tit is captured in a dynamic posture, perched on a leafy branch base.
The glazed porcelain base features the original official stamp printed in blue from the factory, representing the brand's famous windmill (used after 1945), thus certifying its total historical authenticity. A work of high Saxon craftsmanship, ideal for enriching a display cabinet.
Features:
• Manufacturer: Porzellanfabrik Karl Ens (Saxony)
• Collector's subject: Great Tit
• Technique: Underglaze painted porcelain
• Period: Circa 1950-1970 (Post-war)
• Dimensions: Height 12 cm | Length 7 cm | Width 4 cm
• Condition: Perfect conservation state (Mint condition). The porcelain has impeccable transparency and mirror-like shine, no chips or micro-scratches.
