Product description
This imposing centerpiece, or 'pièce de milieu', is a striking decorative object that immediately draws attention. The design is characterized by a richly decorated, transparent glass bowl supported by three intricately crafted elephants.
The structure consists of a heavy, silver-colored metal base with a refined leaf motif, upon which the three elephants rest. With their trunks, they support the large, cut glass bowl, which features a classic geometric pattern. The combination of the clear glass and the dark, patinated metal creates a strong visual contrast. An inscription is visible on the base indicating an Italian origin.
The object is in good condition, befitting its age. The metal displays an authentic patina that contributes to the character of the piece. The glass bowl is intact and retains its clarity.
This centerpiece comes into its own perfectly as a focal point on a large dining table or a sideboard. It fits well within an eclectic or classic interior, where it serves as a true eye-catcher and conversation starter.
