Product description
Space Age "Tower" Ashtray – Isamu Kenmochi for IPPAG, vintage 1970 📝 Description Absolute icon of Space Age design! I am selling this magnificent set of modular stackable ashtrays, the iconic "Tower Ashtray" model designed by the famous Japanese designer Isamu Kenmochi for IPPAG in the 1970s. A rare, ultra-graphic and functional collector's item, perfect for bringing a retro-futuristic and pop touch to your interior. • Design & Concept: A cylindrical tower in chrome-plated metal that separates into several individual ashtrays (also perfect as coin trays or storage boxes). Each level reveals a colored melamine interior in typical shades of the era (orange, red, green...). • Condition: Beautiful vintage condition. The chrome is shiny with a superb time-worn patina. The original red carrying case stamped "IPPAG - Cendrier de Tour" is included (see photos for details of use). • Style: Space Age, Vintage, 70s, Japanese Design. An authentic piece sought after by Mid-Century Modern design enthusiasts. The set contains 5 ashtrays and its original cardboard box. All in very good condition with traces of time and use. Approximate dimensions: Diameter 7 cm Height 3 cm
