This Chinese celadon-glazed 'trigram' vase from the Late Dynasty or early 20th century was converted into a table lamp at the time. This was often done with these vases; however, it was frequently not done well. This lamp is special because it is completely original and undamaged. Furthermore, the conversion into this lamp was done during the same period when the lamp was made. The base is therefore also from the same time period. Very rare in this condition. A Guangxu marking is present on the bottom of the vase. The mint green ceramic base with trigram motif exudes a subtle elegance. The ceramic pedestal adds a warm, classic touch. This lamp is for the serious enthusiast.
