About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
For sale is a rare collector's item: The original design Table lamp „Nike“ by Catellani & Smith in the sought-after, classic low-voltage halogen original version (Oggetti senza Tempo collection).
In contrast to newer LED successors, this model offers the unsurpassed brilliant, warm light of a dichroic halogen spotlight (12V / max. 35W). The light is precisely cast onto the delicate sculpture through a heavy glass lens via the flexible nickel arm. The detailed miniature of the „Nike of Samothrace“ is made of matte white ceramic and rests on a solid stone base. The lamp is in very good, fully functional condition and has the original cable including a cord dimmer for stepless regulation of the light atmosphere. A real highlight for design lovers and collectors.
