Product description
Original Cassina W61 Djuna side table, designed by the Japanese architect and designer Kazuhide Takahama in 1983.
The Djuna is an elegant and refined design with a characteristic elliptical tabletop of white Carrara marble, combined with a minimalist base of bent and chromed steel. The very slender construction gives the table a light appearance and allows the marble top to come into its own.
Takahama designed the Djuna as a tribute to the American writer Djuna Barnes, a well-known figure from the Parisian bohemia of the 1920s and 1930s. The design dates from 1983 and has been produced by Cassina as part of the collection since 2013.
