Product description
For sale: a beautiful and 100% original Torso Chaise Longue (Model 654), designed by the Italian master Paolo Deganello for the absolute top brand Cassina in 1982. This postmodern design icon is a spectacular eye-catcher in any modern, eclectic or vintage interior. The chair challenges the traditional laws of furniture design with its bold, asymmetrical shape: an impressively high, flowing backrest combined with a comfortable low section for delightful lounging. Unique Features & Details: • Designer: Paolo Deganello • Manufacturer: Cassina (Italy) • Period: 80s (Postmodern / Memphis-style influences) • Version: Equipped with a built-in, black lacquered wooden triangular lounge table. The base consists of the iconic asymmetrical frame with grey/black lacquered metal legs. • Upholstery: Executed in a stylish, subtly mottled pastel grey/light upholstery that can easily be integrated into various interior styles. • Condition: The armchair is in good and sturdy vintage condition with normal, light signs of use consistent with the age of the furniture. The foam and comfort are still excellent. Dimensions (approx.): • Width/Length: 160 cm • Depth: 105 cm • Backrest height: 116 cm A unique opportunity for collectors and lovers of high-end Italian design to acquire this rare piece. Price & Collection: Asking price: € 2,450. Offers are welcome, but please only serious ones. Unrealistic bids will be removed. The chair can be collected in Houten.
