Product description
Original La Rotonda table designed by Mario Bellini for Cassina in 1976, in the large 165 cm diameter version with natural solid ash base and clear glass top.
This is an original Cassina piece, not a later reproduction. It has been in my family since new: My father used it in his office for more than 20 years, followed by another 10+ years in my own office as a meeting table.
The table is beautifully constructed and remarkably light in its visual presence despite its substantial size. The round format works exceptionally well as a meeting table and, of course, also as a dining table at home.

Condition: Very good. The solid ash base is in very good overall condition, with normal signs of use consistent with its age. The original Cassina label is still present, although somewhat faded.
The glass top is also in very good overall condition, with a few small edge chips and scratches from use; please see the detailed photographs. There are no known structural issues.
A wonderful opportunity to acquire an original, first-owner La Rotonda with unusually good provenance.
