An original, rare West German ceramic vase, produced by Carstens Tönnieshof in the 1950s.
The vase has a sleek cylindrical shape with an elegant trumpet-shaped spout and features refined painted lines on a cream-white base.
The eye-catcher is the hand-painted graphic band in the center: a deep turquoise/petrol green color with abstract, painted 'sgraffito' and contrasting red glaze dots. An iconic Mid-Century Modern design and a true collector's item!
