Decorative Carstens Tönnieshof glazed ceramic vase, characteristic of West German production from the 1960s-1970s. Its baluster silhouette combines a generous belly with a long, constricted neck ending in a flared opening. The dark brown glaze is mixed with large cream drips punctuated by speckled effects and black craters. A frieze of relief volutes highlights the shoulder, while a scalloped pattern enlivens the lower part. The underside bears the Carstens Tönnieshof two-house logo, reference 7222/30 and the mention 'W Germany'. This contrasting composition is part of the modernist aesthetic of so-called Fat Lava ceramics. Height: 30 cm Width: 15 cm Depth: 15 cm Weight: 1.2 kg Good general vintage condition, no cracks or breaks. Small superficial losses of enamel are visible on the upper edge, accompanied by slight traces of use. A graphic and warm vase, ideal on a console or sideboard in a modernist or eclectic interior.
