This rare table lamp, model LT 361, was designed by Carlo Nason for Mazzega in the 1970s. The design consists of an aluminum fixture surrounded by four white crystal glass plates. These plates are secured with bolts, creating a beautiful interplay of transparency and light.
The slightly irregular structure of the glass diffuses the light in a soft and warm manner. The sleek, modular design is characteristic of Carlo Nason's work and fits well within Italian design from the 1960s and 70s. The lamp is included in the Mazzega catalog and is considered a recognizable design from this period. The lamp is in very good vintage condition.
