About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Origin and Characteristics: The vase shows the typical characteristics of authentic, hand-blown Murano glass by the renowned Italian designer Carlo Moretti. The presence of small air bubbles in the glass is completely normal for such artisanal craftsmanship and is precisely a sign of the mouth-blown process. The fact that the pontil on the underside is beautifully ground smooth and flattened indicates a high-quality finish. This is characteristic of better studio glass art from the second half of the 20th century (often 70s or 80s). • Size: With a height of 40 cm, this vase belongs to the larger and rarer sizes.
