Product description
Elegant two-seater sofa designed by Carlo de Carli for Cinova, Italy, 1960s. The design is supported by a refined tubular steel frame with flowing, continuous lines. The subtle variation in diameter—slenderer armrests contrasting with the sturdier base—gives the whole a light, almost floating appearance and clearly distinguishes it from other tubular-frame sofas of the same period. The sofa has been reupholstered by the previous owner in a deep blue velvet fabric, which contrasts beautifully with the cool steel and gives the design a softer, luxurious look. Loose cushions provide extra comfort and a relaxed seat. In very good vintage condition.
