An exceptional and rare large vintage flush-mount ceiling light by Carl Fagerlund, combining iconic Scandinavian mid-century design with genuine handcrafted Murano glass. The lamp features dramatic clear textured glass leaves arranged in a sculptural botanical composition over a luminous gold-toned metal ceiling plate. The thick, ice-like Murano glass catches and refracts the light beautifully, creating a soft yet striking glow. With its impressive 60 cm (23.6 in) diameter and low 20 cm (7.9 in) profile, this ceiling light makes a wonderful statement without requiring a high ceiling. It is ideal for a living room, bedroom, dining room, entrance hall, boutique, or sophisticated hospitality interior. One glass leaf previously had a small crack and was professionally restored by a specialist Murano glass workshop in Italy. The repair is secure and practically invisible once the lamp is assembled. A detailed photograph is included for complete transparency. Apart from this disclosed professional restoration, the lamp is beautifully preserved, with no missing glass elements. OPTIONAL MURANO FLOWERS: The lamp was originally designed with the possibility of adding four small transparent Murano glass flowers. I can supply and add these flowers for an additional €80.
