Cordless table lamp made of Cari Zalloni ceramic – Cityscape Collection. This exceptional table lamp is part of the Cityscape Collection and combines iconic 1970s ceramic design with contemporary textile design. The lamp base was created from an original ceramic vase by Cari Zalloni, whose designs for Steuler Keramik are now considered among the most important classics of West German pottery. His sculptural, stacked forms are reminiscent of modern architecture and form the design basis of this collection. For the Cityscape Collection, this design language is reinterpreted. The handcrafted lampshade depicts a colorful skyline of skyscrapers, facades, and urban structures. The clear geometric forms echo the cubic silhouette of the vase and connect mid-century ceramics with contemporary textile design. This creates a captivating dialogue between architecture, ceramics, and light. The deep petrol-blue glaze of the vase forms an elegant contrast to the vibrant colors of the shade. It is precisely this combination of serene ceramic and lively urban motif that gives the lamp its distinctive character. When switched on, the shade unfolds its full color brilliance and bathes the room in a warm, atmospheric light. The lamp is wireless, making it flexible and easy to place wherever atmospheric lighting is desired – on sideboards, windowsills, bedside tables, bookshelves, or as a decorative focal point on the dining table, balcony, or patio. The rechargeable LED bulb is conveniently charged via USB-C and offers a runtime of up to 12 hours, depending on the selected brightness. Brightness and color temperature can be individually adjusted using the included remote control – from warm white ambient light to neutral white. The bulb is CE-certified and can be easily replaced at any time. Like all lamps, this unique piece was also carefully converted into a lamp. The collector's value of the original Cari Zalloni vase is preserved, as no drilling was required. The reversible plug-in solution allows for easy restoration to the original state at any time.
