Product description
Capodimonte porcelain teapot, bronze and pure gold, made at the end of the 19th Century. Dimensions: 23 cm diameter, 14 cm diameter, 30 cm height. Capodimonte porcelain is an excellence of Italian craftsmanship, with a rich history and a production renowned for its quality and refinement. The Royal Capodimonte Factory was founded in 1743 by Charles of Bourbon, King of Naples, within the Royal Palace of Capodimonte. The factory has undergone various phases of activity, with periods of great splendor and moments of closure, but has always maintained high quality standards. Capodimonte porcelain is famous for its "soft paste," a composition that gives objects a particular softness and luminosity. The decorations are characterized by great attention to detail, with depictions of mythological scenes, allegorical figures, floral motifs, and daily life scenes. Capodimonte statues are particularly appreciated for their expressiveness and richness of detail. The production includes a wide range of objects, such as figurines, dinnerware sets, vases, centerpieces, and decorative items. The craftsmanship is predominantly artisanal, with techniques handed down from generation to generation.
