Product description
This is a porcelain sculpture by the Italian artist Bruno Merli, crafted in the Capodimonte tradition. The work depicts a lively and charming scene, characteristic of Merli's romantic and detailed style. The sculpture is made from fine bisque porcelain, which provides a soft, matte finish that accentuates the subtle details of the figures. The faces are hand-painted, giving each figure a unique expression. The entire piece is mounted on a lacquered wooden base in a deep red color. The work is signed by B. Merli and dated 1987, with the recognizable Capodimonte hallmark. The porcelain itself is in very good condition, retaining its original colors and without visible damage to the figures. The wooden base shows some signs of age consistent with a vintage object, but the overall structural and aesthetic integrity of the artwork is well preserved. This figurative artwork is a classic addition to an interior and fits well on a dresser, console, or in a display cabinet. It evokes a sense of nostalgia and innocence, forming an elegant decorative accent in both classic and more eclectic settings.
