Product description
This is a glass candle holder designed by Rudolf Jurnikl in the 1960s. The piece is known for its 'Icecube' design, a characteristic example of Czech pressed glass from that period.
Manufacturer Sklo Union, Rudolfova Hut 1965
The candle holder is made of thick, clear pressed glass and has a robust, cube-like shape. A clever detail is that the design is reversible, making it suitable for both a standard dinner candle and a tealight. This versatile and sculptural object is a classic within Mid-Century glass design.
Weight 480 grams
The item is in good condition commensurate with its age, retaining its clarity and shape. The heavy glass gives it a solid and high-quality appearance. This candle holder is a timeless decorative object that fits into both a vintage and a modern interior, for example on a sideboard, coffee table or windowsill.
The candle holder is fragile and therefore I only send it by registered mail
