An exceptional and unique piece, this original prototype by Michel Ducaroy comes directly from his workshop. Documents attest to its authenticity. Entirely made of foam, it features an oval, monobloc, and enveloping shape, emblematic of the designer's organic and experimental work in the 1970s. Its fluid design, without apparent structure, highlights the pursuit of total comfort and formal freedom characteristic of his work. The sofa is entirely upholstered in a textured anorak-type fabric, in shades of gray subtly nuanced with violet. This singular material accentuates its experimental character and unique identity. An unproduced prototype, this rare piece testifies to a research phase within Michel Ducaroy's workshop. Its low and sculptural volume makes it both a collector's item and a work of design.
