Product description
This Canadian Art Deco armchair combines striking design with functional comfort. The curved, black lacquered armrests and geometrically patterned upholstery give the piece a distinctive aesthetic typical of the design language of this era.
The armchair features a sturdy wooden frame with an adjustable backrest that locks into place with a visible mechanism at the rear. The seat and back cushions are upholstered in a multicolored fabric with a complex geometric pattern in muted tones. The seat is supported by a woven webbing system, providing added comfort.
The armchair is in good condition, reflecting its age and use. The original lacquer on the wooden frame displays an authentic patina that underscores the piece's historical character. The upholstery and adjustment mechanism are intact and functional.
This armchair would be a perfect fit for classic or eclectic interiors. It is ideal as a striking standalone piece in a reading room or as a stylish addition to a spacious living area.
