Product description
Description:
Offered: an iconic set of 4 original 'Series 7' butterfly chairs (Model 3107), designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. An absolute design classic with a timeless Scandinavian silhouette.
The chairs have been painted in an atmospheric green color and are in good structural condition (the pre-formed plywood is sturdy and resilient).
Condition (Ideal restoration project):
Over the years, the chairs have acquired visible signs of wear and paint damage (see photos).
One seat has a distinct ring/wear mark in the paint. This makes the set perfect for the enthusiast who wants to give them a fresh new coat of lacquer or paint to restore them to absolute mint condition. The chrome/metal on the legs also has some damage.
Delivery:
Pickup only / Transport via the platform in consultation and at the buyer's risk.
Traces of use: I painted them myself because the paint was no longer nice. One chair has obvious damage in the paint. But the set can easily be refinished and are then nice again. Scratches on the legs and one chair is missing a screw.
