Product description
Striking “Café Costes” colour silkscreen by OTSO (Patrick Boussignac), created circa 1990 and capturing the vibrant, retro-futurist spirit of Paris at the turn of the decade. The scene reflects the highly stylised 1980s aesthetic of the Costes universe — fashionable figures, bold colours and architectural clarity — with visible references to the iconic Costes armchairs designed by Philippe Starck for Driade. The print is signed “OTSO” in the lower right and was produced by Atelier Michel Caza, one of the most important fine-art silkscreen studios of the 20th century. Renowned worldwide as a master printer, Michel Caza collaborated for over 55 years with major artists including Andy Warhol, Salvador Dalí, Pierre Soulages and Victor Vasarely, making editions from his atelier particularly sought after by collectors. Presented in its original-period frame: light brown wood with a black lacquered edge, offering an elegant contrast and a refined architectural finish. The work is protected under glass and displays beautifully.
