Mario Botta's signature architectural style, characterized by pure, intelligently interconnected geometric volumes, is clearly visible in the Charlotte chair. The cylindrical element is the starting point, extending at the top into the interior to create a chair that appears suspended in mid-air. This absolute yet empty volume makes Charlotte both light and monolithic. Handwoven from thin, consistent-section natural rattan, Charlotte's design is suitable for both residential and commercial settings.
