Product description
This vintage swivel office chair from the 1970s features a chrome-plated metal frame and green textile upholstery. Its design is a characteristic example of the Space Age era, its origin confirmed by a date stamp from April 1976 on the Stabilus gas spring.
The construction consists of a chrome-plated tubular steel frame that transitions into padded armrests made of black plastic. The seat and backrest are covered with a durable, textured fabric in a strong shade of green. The chair rests on a five-star metal base with castors and is swivel and height-adjustable thanks to the original Stabomat gas pressure spring.
The chair is in good, age-appropriate original condition. The upholstery is well preserved and shows the characteristic nature of the original material. The metal frame shows an age-related patina, which contributes to the authenticity of the piece.
As a functional design object, this office chair is ideal for a home office or a workspace that should benefit from a touch of retro aesthetics. It blends seamlessly into Mid-Century or eclectic style interiors.
