About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This Desk was designed by the Italian designer Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli in the 1970s. This piece is a representative example of the functional office design of the era, combining clean lines with robust construction. The model is distinguished by its suspended drawer unit and its asymmetrical chromed metal base.
The Desk features a black rectangular top with rounded corners, resting on a metal structure. One side is supported by a chrome cross base, while the other integrates a black storage unit with two drawers. The drawers are equipped with chrome handles and a lock, with a key present. The interior of the drawers is made of molded plastic, typical of Castelli's production.
The overall condition of this Desk is good, in accordance with its age and use. It retains its original finish and solid structure, testifying to Castelli's manufacturing quality. The combination of black and chrome gives it a timeless aesthetic.
Thanks to its compact design and Mid-Century aesthetic, this Desk easily integrates into a home office or professional workspace. It pairs well with vintage, industrial, or minimalist style interiors, bringing a touch of classic Italian design.
